The GRF travelling band screen is designed for the protection of hydraulic power packs. All its constituent parts have been studied and dimensioned so as to allow for accidental over loading without any interference to its running.
Two way filtration can be envisaged (inside/outside or conversely).
Installation parallel to the direction of flow.
Perfect and continuous watertightness.
Possibility of large tidal/level range.
Standard filtration from 600 mic.
The filtering band is made up from a set of filter frames fixed onto the links of two continuous chains, situated on either side and resting on two bosses mounted on the drive shaft. The links of the chains are equipped with rollers which move along fixed tracks either on the framewok (GRF) or directly on the concrete of the structure
(GRF sc).
The GRF can also be installed for single flow applications in which case the filter element is perpendicular to the direction of the flow (GRF sf).
